Is it just buying new scopes that causes all this cloud - because I've also been buying EP's, books, filters, torches.....We're doomed!

If it will make you feel better, it has been cloudy too here for the last two nights....And I haven't told the Mrs. yet either that I have a scope....

I'm setting the alarm for 2.30am for a promised patch of cleardom.

Still haven't had a view of Saturn this time round.

I was buzzing with astronomy 3 months ago. Sustained cloud cover has slowly sapped my will.

I have come to the conclusion this has to be a very take or leave it hobby in the UK. (mostly leave it a present)

If nothing else I've just got all the kit out, admired the EPs, wondered at the beauty of the 200K

Put me on the blame list aswell, I got my scope 2 weeks ago and only had about 3 hours use. I feel like a kid waiting to go to disneyland.
