M42 Afocal from last night

Last night the seeing wasn't great but the transparency was good.

I'd thought I'd have another go at M42.

Nice shot, try (if you dont already) full zoom and the lens just touching the eyepiece

It's a good representation (bar the colour) of what you can expect to see at the eyepiece

I tried the zoom but it seems to create distortion.

I will have to devote an evening to this.
