64 pane terminator mosaic

Hello guys,

I did a bit of practising during the day time to see if I could use two 2x barlows together and actually focus and stack an image. Here's the results:

Come the evening I couldn't resist trying to make a tiny mosaic of some of the regions I captured during the day and somehow ended up making a massive mosaic (my biggest yet) of the entire terminator. It took about 90 minutes to shoot this and many hours of stacking and PS-ing to get the final version.

Here's a quarter-size version of the image...sorry about the size for those with small screens! Click on the image for a larger (but still not full-size) version.

Shot with a Skywatcher 130P, RA drive, Baader IR-cut filter, Celestron Ultima + Skywatcher barlows and £6 SPC 900NC :) Stacked in Registax.

EDIT: I've tagged the image with a colour profile to hopefully ensure consistent colour rendering on different peoples' screens. Howevs if I load the image in the Windows picture previewer it ruins the colours. If you see knackered colours when viewing the image, try again with a different browser! Working in Opera 11 and IE8 for me.

Thanks for looking

Simon
