Exeter Astronomical Society?

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if Exeter Astronomical Society still exists? I've set up a website which is basically a directory of Astronomy related clubs and events in the South West and I've found old links to it's website but they are all dead.

I've also had someone recently ask me if there are any clubs in Exeter so other than advise them of the NLO, which I am a member of myself, I haven't been able to help them any further.

No help, but I was looking around for some info about Astronomical Societies in Exeter recently. I found and e-mail for this society listed somewhere or other, but it was dead. I'd also be interested if anyone knows about this. I've been meaning to come the NLO for a while. Friday is always kind of busy.

I wasn't able to find any society in Exeter so I too joined the NLO.

I think Martin at FLO belongs to one of the societies in the Exeter area. Perhaps a call to him might help.

Isn't that not far from Exeter. I'm unfamiliar with the area.

Yeah, very close to Exeter, less than 10 miles I believe, I am near yeovil so it's a 45 minute drive for me.
