Taken with megrez 72, SW field flattener, unmodded 450D, on a heq5. 10X1 min exposures stacked in DSS. Put it in photoshop and mucked around abit. Really need to learn how to process images properly.

You should be proud of this! I would be very happy with this result, especialy for only 10mins worth!!

Hope you don't mind, thought i could have a wee go at processing this myself, just for a bit of practice for me, much a newb myself!

Think I managed to get a wee bit more out the old flame? Busted up the star colours in the process though

Cheers Micheal, i didnt realise there was that much detail in there, im just starting out and really dont know a great deal about processing. Will go for longer exposure time next time i try image it. Although im just wandering are these clouds ever going to shift?

you have don a great job for the amount of exposure......colour is spot on...more subs will bring it out

Awesome... gives me hope as I am about to start out on trying DSO imaging with a similar set-up. Nice to see that you can get some nice results without a £5K CCD and 20hrs of exposures :-)
