VDB 141 SH2-136 The Ghost Nebula

Hi guys,

As I wrote under the image on my site: This image consists of 2:45H OCS using the ST8300C, shot over several nights in September and October 2010. I can't accuse anything or anyone for this arduous process, but perhaps some bad luck, causing me time and again to stop imaging due to the object being on the wrong side of the meridian, bad seeing, bad guiding, and so on.

It was all the more worse, since I was dreaming about the Ghost Nebula, and about imaging it, for months before... It was one of those "prime" objects, to which I felt an immediate attraction, and not being able to complete the job was quite frustrating. But - I kept coming (:-)) and eventually I bagged it. I hope you like it as much as I do.
