New Grab and go

Picked up an 80mm Konus Vista today from a chap off Astro Buy Sell (thanks again John!)

Have added it to my Slik birding tripod for an ultra portable grab and go: -

Looks nice Hugh... mine still gets used like that... just one thing...

throw away that finder (if it's anything like the one I got with mine...) and stick an RDF on it...

As for the Dalek... I don't think they need a telescope

nice one, i guess thats the same as the startravel 80, very portable, i started out with the st80, many years ago, have toyed with getting one and some how strapping it piggy back to my omc

Yes, I have discovered the finder is abysmal!

I have an auto off RDF coming to me shortly to replace it.
