Well, I couldnt wait to get access to the used forum so today ordered my Skymaster Explorer 150P on EQ3-2 - I was going to order the GoTo mount but felt like `learning` my way around the skies to start with, I love a challenge and reading the sticky thread above convinced me that it would be a good way to start. Can`t wait for it to arrive.

However, now that I have placed my order I am afraid we`'ll probably have 2-3 months of cloud, so please accept my apologies in advance for this..

Hi Simms and welcome lol no need to worry my new scope turns up tomorrow so i can take the blame for you. Im sure other people have mentioned but theres a book called Turn left at Orion that will be great for you also maybe a planisphere
