I prefer to use refractor because I don´t use to colimate.

The view was great seeing in the eyepiece ! I kept some time observing before I shoot, because was beautifull !!!

Gives a sense of deep space. Is the slight darkening on the left limb of Jupiter, signs of a phase? I thought I noticed the same effect the last time I observed it.

Nice one Luis, I had my first try at Jupiter tonight but have a long way to go yet (it's only night two of my observing career so I'm not being too hard on myself!).

perrin6 I think the effect you are seeing is chromatic aberration, often noticeable as magenta on one side and cyan on the other.
