Thanks for the "heads up" about Stellarium. I have been using a version I obtained from the Sky At Night magazine CD for a while now. It is a really nice piece of software and you cannot grumble at the "price" .

It's great for a newbie like me to either run back in the house from my garden and check immediately anything I am not sure of or refer back to when I get home from further afield. Or indeed take a quick look at what to expect today, tomorrow, next week, next year.......
