Moon Halo Pic

Just managed to get myself a new Canon 350d so have been trying it out a bit. unfortunately its been cloudy ever since i got it as you would expect but got this pic last night. Very hazy sky with a nearly full moon and you could see an amazing halo effect all around it so i tried to get a couple of snaps. Still trying to get used to the camera so its a bit rough but here you go.

Moon Halos are less observerd as Sun halos.

hey i saw that last night Andy , wife said go get a piccy , cant be bothered i said lol , but thought someone would get it , thats one of the biggest i have seen , it looked great , glad you got it , good image Andy

Thanks for the vote of confidence guys. i did find it a bit tricky to get the pic right as i either got the halo underexposed so you could hardly see it or the moon way way over exposed. Looked a lot better by eyesight believe me.

Celescope i had to have a look at your profile when you said you saw it too and i notice your in bas! arent you the guy who takes all the amazing pics? must be pretty hard stuck around there. For info im just down the road in Saaaaafend innit and i struggle with orangeness. Do you go to any clubs etc round here? would be good to meet someone who know what they are doing.
