first light for 314l

not the best though not got my kit up and running properly no guiding on the 70 wo so only 60 sec subs and about atotal of 40 min in lum though im happy i finaly got some thing after all this cloud

and advice would be welcome any idea on the smuge on top

If I had any control over the weather - I'd surely clear the sky for you more often.

If this is what you get from 40 min., what should we expect from 200 ?? :-)

Don't think that's a smudge, looks like a dusty dark spot in the nebula?

I'm very interested that the central area is darker than the outer. Have you applied any flats. I'm having exactly the same problem with my SX M26 and am wondering whether it could be condensation around the chip. Any one else had this problem?

From the look of things you haven't applied flats. The dark smudge is a smear or condensation. I've had the same thing before and it was a smear. Flats took care of it.
