I was almost tempted to click on the buy it now just to see what a view through 16" would look like. Then I gathered my thoughts and realised that I've not had the best out of my 12" dob yet and made the executive decision that it would be worthless unless I moved house to a much darker site.

I didn't know I could out rationalise Aperture fever! In fact I’m starting to think of options with less aperture that may be better for planets etc…

Orion optics standard recoat for a 16 inch mirror is £110 for if i am reading correctly.
