NGC 7635 - The Bubble

The imaging set up continues to perform very well. This was a visit to this one as I wanted to get some OIII data and see if there was any SII.

Ha was 28 x 600 seconds, OIII was 10 x 1200 seconds.

I then shot 8 x 1800 seconds for the SII and there was barely a whisper!!!

So this is a Bicolour, and combined into a synthetic green using the method from Steve Cannistra.

My grey scale processing is getting better, but the colour needs some work!!

Object: NGC 7635

Imaging: ED80 + SXVF-H9 + SX Filter Wheel

Guiding: SX Lodestar + SX OAG

Mount: EQ6 + EQMOD

Aquisition: MaximDL + CCD Commander + TheSky6

Processing: MaximDL, PS CS4

That sir, I reckon is possibly your best yet. Smooth as a baby's behind and not overly bright as some so it's quite dramatic. I reckon you could get away with a smidge of sharpening to some of that detail SW of the Bubble and not bring any real noise to it.

Congrats!!

Tony..
