Street lamps switch off!

Surely the councils, now that they are losing even more funding from central goverment and have to make cuts, are thinking of switching the street lights off to save money.

Come on Reading borough council you know it makes sense..

would be great if they would,but in this day and age,compensation firms would love it,people claiming from injurys,switch off lights,stop claims.

Ours do, have done ever since we moved here 6 years ago. Off around 12.30, back on in the morning or not at all in the summer. Sweeet.

I contacted Herefordshire Council about this.

now if there dealings with the lease i was sorting for my shop is anything to go by ill hear from them in about 3 months :|
