POLL: What mount do you find best suited for astrophotography?

I am interested to know what people use for their astrophotography imaging, mainly with a webcam.

What do you use?...

EQ6, soon to be EQ7 for the bigger stuff (c11/skynyx)

EQ3-2 for solar with the Lumenera

Money no object, AP3600 would be my weapon of choice

For Webcam you could probably get by with an EQ3-2 Pro if your scope is light enough, and and HEQ5pro if you have heavier scopes. For long exposure and larger scopes then NEQ6Pro, CGEM, CGE, CGE Pro, AP1200 etc. etc. etc.

EQ4 clone or a Tal 2M mount.

All depends on what focal length your imaging through and weight/size of your instrument, My own G11 can handle focal lengths 6000mm+ for webcam imaging and I suspect the EQ6 can too, You can get away with poor quiding when webcam imaging however you get better final results with an inital steady guided image.

HEQ5, but I have used a NexStar SLT (tracking really wasn't up to it though)

EQ6 up until this year when I layed my hands on an Astrotrac, very portable and dead easy to set up.

EQ6 here, its heavy cumbersome but does the job well.

over the last year i have and an Alt-az, CG4, EQ5 and a CG5 Goto.

i cant see myself having the need to upgrade for a long time.
