The good thing about the moon is that clouds can actually make it look better... Shame the cameras were off. I tried capturing some photographs of the moody moon occluded by clouds but I was too shaky for the longer exposures needed in the dark.

8:00 Light clould looked like it might clear.

9:00 Light cloud looked like it would persist.

10:00 Heavy cloud.

11:00 Raining.

About normal then.

I did broadcast for a while Mike - through the clouds. Got about 5 minutes and then the clouds just got too thick here in Edinburgh. Kept trying for another hour but had to give up in the end. Don't think many people got to show much. Even a guy in Australia got rained off.

I did get a look at the Moon, and I took my best yet afocal image of the Appenines, in the Lunar imaging section. I forgot to join the NASA chat channel because I was outside.
