imaging source dbk21 images

Hello:

Wondering if someone could post some planetary images using above camera and celestron 9.25 sct, so that I might have something to aspire to with my gear? I would appreciate any input .

There are some superb Jupiter Images produced by Neil Phillips with the DBK21, but his scope was the Orion Europa 250mm Newtonian.

Not an SCT. I don't expect you would have any issues with the SCT though.

Big, sharp, and mean Jupiter. It's doable in very good seeing at f/20-/f30. Cute and small at f/10

This is the "pinacle" as far as many planetary imagers are concerned but have a look at Damian Peach`s website, some of his older images were taken with a C9.25.....jaw dropping stuff indeed!!!

Thank you...I have checked out what my scope can do in professional hands, and it certainly is motivation to get out there and experiment.

Hi NC, I got this on a 5" APO, 4X Imagemate (f30), RGB filters on a mono MK21 a couple of weeks ago. The seeing was good at 4-30 in the morning but I worked hard to get the focus spot-on. The C9.25 should be able to better this.
