Work in progress - Pacman from SSP

I had two clear nights at the Salisbury Star party - Thursday was spent finishing off a couple of other targets and Saturday night was spent starting a new project, NGC281 aka the Pacman in Cassiopeia.

I managed to get 26x 10 minute Ha subs, 6 were thrown away due to knocks to the scope and one kindly soul pointing his torch into the scope and asking if I was imaging..... I've aligned and stacked the 20 subs, cropped the image and applied one histogram stretch and a tweak in curves. It's very much a work in progress and I think this target is going to take months to do justice to... I want more Ha and of course oodles of OIII and SII.... hopefully Kelling will provide some clear nights :)

20x 10min subs in Ha (Baader 7nm Ha filter)

Taken through a Megrez 72 with an SX H9 CCD camera

Guided by PHD, captured by Nebulosity, stacked and tweaked in PixInsight.

Enjoy... I hope!
