Skywatcher Skyliner 150P Dobsonian

Hi i just got my telescope from first light optics and was wondering being a newbie and all was i meant to order the stand or mount seperate

Normally the skywatchers come with a mount - did you order the right thing???

To be fair, the "Dobsonian" describes the mount, NOT the telescope, so if you ordered a Dobsonian, then by all rights it should include the mount!

i contacted the site there they said i should of recieved 2 boxes with the stand in one, i will blame fedex, it did have my heart racing there though thought i had messed up lol

Sounds like the Fedex guy didn't realise there were two boxes. He'll probably be back before the day is out.

Phew!! After all that help we didn't want it going pear shaped now lol

Hope the mount arrives either today or first thing tomorrow.

Lost count on how many times Fed Ex come back a few hours later to deliver the 2nd package when delivering live and frozen food, but im no smarter cos I normally forget to mention it.

That nearly happened to me with the 12" - the guy said there were a couple of boxes and I firmly assured him there were three. To be forewarned is to be forearmed....
