Hi everyone.

Been observing visually for a while now but recently started getting into imaging, so a few weeks ago i bought my first ccd a mono ATIK 16ic. I plan to use this to train up until i can afford a better camera.

I live just outside portsmouth so the skies arent great due to LP

I have a meade lxd55 10"schmidt newtonian on an NEQ6 pro mount, ST80 guide scope and filter wheel with filters, allthough the guidescope and filters havent been used yet.

Heres my first image taken -M51, it was from the garden with half moon up, 10 x 10s unguided exposures stacked.

Still getting used to image proccessing etc

Hope to try some more soon if i get some clear skies.
