It's an excellent buy, you won't be disappointed and you'll see loads.

The 150P is a superb scope that will do well on all targets. It's a scope that has so much potential it should keep you happy for many nights.

And the EQ3/2 is a good match up for the scope. Only weakness maybe the aluminium tripod but with the legs retracted it should also be no problem.

It's a great scope and really won't dissapoint as long as you have read around a bit on the forum and realise that the views will not look like the photo's on the web and in magazines !.

Take time in daylight to get used to how the scope works so you are not fumbling around so much in the dark (that goes for all scopes !)

Bear in mind that the fainter planetary details and deep sky objects don't just "jump out" at you - they have to be worked at through time, practice and good viewing conditions (again, that goes for all scopes).

But, yes a good choice of scope.

I have the 150P (3rd time I've owned it). Its a great scope, in some ways a good all rounder.
