The measurement between where the 2" section seats into the focuser and the top of the 1.25" part is 19mm, so compare that to the adaptor that's being used now.

It will add a further 11mm off inward focus .

I had this problem. My solution was to get the Hyperion fine tuning rings. The 14mm is just right for this purpose and is 48mm threaded on both ends so it screws straight onto the filter threads of the adaptor and 2" filters screw straight onto it. I use the 28mm one when I want to use 2" filters with my Ethos 13mm.

The rings cost £10 each from FLO :)

I'm forgetting the obvious. The Baader 14mm fine tuning ring that screws onto the bottom of the adaptor as it has the same threads as a 2" filter. I think it's about £10.00 or so.
