1000d and CS2

I'm having trouble with these two. When I try to open a raw image with CS2, it says it cannot complete the request because its the wrong type of document.

Any ideas? Is there a plug-in?

Hiya, from what I've read the 3.7 raw update doesn't support the 1000D..

It appears that the Canon raw update for CS2 is no longer going to be updated. What they want of course is for you to update to CS4 which is rather pricy especially if you have already paid megabucks for CS2. I have the same problem with my 40D. One way round it which still costs but nothing like as much is to get Photoshop Elements 8 which has a much higher version of Canon Raw and after initial processing can be saved as a 16 bit tiff and then processed with CS2. You can download PE8 for free on a 30 day trial.

For a quick conversion without the tweaking options you can use Irfan Viewer (need the extra plug-ins)

Or use Canon DPP which is free which has already been suggested...and tweak till your hearts content
