With all the talk of Comets i feel im missing out having never seen one, are there are any round at the moment that will be easy to find ?

Heavens Above lists 4 comets brighter than mag 12 at the mo...

Catalina is in Andromeda at Mag 9.0

81 P Wild 2 is in Virgo at Mag 9.3

K5 McNaught is in Aquila at Mag 10.2

and Siding Spring is now in Draco at Mag 11.1

I managed to spot Siding Spring a week or so ago. It was, very, very, very challenging with my 10" newtonian but I did just about pick it out.

Catalina and 81 P Wild 2 sound more hopeful !.

Got 81 last night but only with a camera. It's low + city + moon is comming It's getting closer to "Syrma" the star.
