Hi everyone , new user here and ive just bought my first telescope.

Its nothing spectacular as im only starting off , celestron 90 EQMD.

Hoping to learn a lot and chat with the members here. Ive read only good things from everyone about how helpful the peeps are on here.

Hi Akula,

A very warm welcome to SGL, in my earlier days a telescope with anything above a 75mm objective was considered fantastic but cost the earth. Charles Messier in creating his famous catalogue used at considerable length his favorite telescope which was an Achromatic Dolland-refractor of 3.5" aperture 42" FL ( 89/1067 ) 120x
