Cloud Cloud Cloud (An Observers Poem (ish))

When I'm at work late at night,

I can see the stars out shining bright,

When driving home it's nice an clear,

But then on the horizon something appears,

I know that my garden is getting near,

And then it happens the clouds are here,

Sleet and Snow and Wind and Rain,

Oh how we love to hate this time of year,

The longest nights and brightest stars,

As we wrap ourselves up in hats and scarves,

But with the clouds there is not much to do,

Except sit inside with a nice hot brew.

Don't know if this rings true for any of our other observers but the East Coast hasn't been to great just lately for viewing.

Though I hope a knock together poem in about 3 minutes cheers a few people up.

absolutely, the number of times I'm driving home under a perfectly clear sky, only for it to cloud over as soon as it gets dark!

Also the only 3 clear nights recently were during a super bright full moon. Perhaps you can add something about this to your poem too!
