Yes, certainly add more :)

I reckon on grabbing at least 5 hours of data for a shot like this.

You will then be able to get a much smoother transition into the background from the spiral arms, without noise issues, and may find some interesting faint objects in the background too.

I once did an image with almost 100 x 10 minute subs, and decided to see how far I could push it in processing until it became noisy, just for an experiment. I actually couldn't get it to become noisy....the S/N ratio was that good with so many subs.

Greg Parker reckons on getting around 100 subs for his and Noel Carbonis' work, and their results speak for themselves.
