Here's my first of the season, due mainly to the abysmal weather

Seeing wasn't ideal and to be honest, I'd left it a bit late in the morning, but the main features are there. Mars is currently 10.7 arcseconds in diameter - and growing...

oh wow great image Pete.......is that Olympus Mons just off centre? The white(ish) blob. Certainly couldn't see it in the scope this morning but the other features tie up nicely.

I'm using a C-14 and Lumenera SKYnyx combination. However, the SKYnyx has developed a hot pixel right in the middle of the frame. Doesn't really make much difference to this sort of processing but it does mess up the level meter, showing 100% all the time. >

It's effects only become noticeable when the frame rate is low though.
