First bash with my 10" SCT, didn't get much contrast, filter next time maybe... It looked much better in the scope (I need to get a clothes peg as well.... )

You've now got to stay out until 2-00am to get a good moon shot . Hence the 3.00am post eh?

I tried a couple of close up shots on Thursday just before midnight but the moon was low and boiling.
