Hi Franck

I'm not sure what that dark marking is but it is part of the vortex and has been there for ages :headbang:

For example http://stargazerslounge.com/imaging-planetary/89615-jupiter-19th-october.html

I got all excited myself one night when I discovered a similar feature associated with the "Red Spot Junior" on the other side of Jupiter :D:D:(

Your images are very nice, but I'm not sure what you are doing with the colour :D What Camera and settings do you use??

Thats an excellent image!

The DMK seams really good and I was thinking of it for my next purchase.

Do their color cameras have the same quality/performance?

This is a topic of much discussion which it is better for others to take up :D:headbang:

I have seen excellent shots this year from both cameras:D

And would defy anyone to pick which camera produced which image :D
