Motor focuser

Recommended Posts

Howdy,

I am now looking for the final item so that I can sit in the warmth of my warm room leaving the scopes out to face the cold......

So, with that in mind, can anyone suggest an electric / electronic focuser for my C6SCT. I have found one, a JMI IIRC, but it is $160 US, I'd like to get it a bit cheaper if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah I do have a electric focuser Craig, but it is on the C80. I am looking for another to use on the SCT. I cant see anyway of fitting the SW Accufocuser to the SCT so there must be some available, other than the expensive JMI job.

Hmmmm

Don't know what you do with the Celestron other than DIY...

Even the Meade #1206 electronic focus motor is no longer in production...

The answer seems to the the #1209 zero shift focuser, which is a Zero shift Crayford which screws onto the SCT threads and has a 2" female...only give a few mm travel....
