NGC6992 - single sub

Here's an image that I found lurking on my lappy after Salisbury. I'd imaged the other part of the Veil neb all evening and decided to take a test shot of this before taking a run of darks.

It's a single 10 minute sub at ISO800, with dark, flat and bias frames. Image is cropped to show the main area of nebulosity.

WO ZS80FD / TV 0.8x reducer flattener / Badder modded Canon 450D

EQ6 Pro, guided with a WO ZS66SD / QHY5 / EQMOD

Wow, I'm not an imager but for a single sub I'd say that's amazing! green, aqua, coral, red, so many colours in there. Lovely

Yes that IS good for one sub! Interestingly the modded DSLRs seem to be relatively light on the blue.

This is an amazing image for a single sub although the image smoothing has lost you some of the detail that I suspect is hidden in there. The skies must have been good though - well captured!
