starscy Posted August 19, 2009 Share Posted August 19, 2009 Did some observing tonight of the globular clusters M15 in Pegasus and M2 in Aquarius using 10x50 binoculars. M15 can be seen in the same field of view as epsilon Peg very near a small group of stars and M2 a few degrees lower to the right of a much wider group of stars resembling a capital L shape. Paxo Posted August 19, 2009 Share Posted August 19, 2009 Globular clusters make fantastic bino targets, theres something about the widefield you get that put these masses of stars into context, it's great to see them close up, but even better to see them in their place in the galaxy.Steve..
