GordonCopestake Posted May 8, 2006 Share Posted May 8, 2006 Celestron tend to excel at SCT's as these are the only OTA's they make iirc. The rest of their scopes are synta i think so are equal to the sw/orion although they tend to change tubes and colours (a-la the C80ED being a smaller tube than the ED80). They also excel at their software on goto mounts. The CG range is equivilent to the EQ range give or take a version number.
