Recommended Posts

Hello,

just to show here my last transit of Exoplanet TrES-3b orbiting the star TrES-3.

From portugal, this morning (1:30 - 4:30 local time).

Tak FS 102NSV @ f/6.2

QSI 532 WS-M1 + LHX

Bessel R photometric filter

ATLAS EQMOD

That is exceptional work Paulo. As Kevin remarked, it is astonishing that amateurs can partake in the technical demonstrations of light curve plots of Exo planets parent stars. truly remarkable.

You are some guy my friend.

Do you know the orbital period of this body Paulo?, and it's size and distance from the star.?

Lot's of questions, I hope you don't mind.:)

Ok, about TrES-3b:

Discovery date: 2007

Mass: 1.92 Mj

Orbital period: 1.306 days

Semimajor axis: 0.0226 ± 0.0013 AU
