Amazingly even the Welsh skies cleared up enough last night to allow for some imaging! So just a quick shot of the veil in Ha, I want to get a couple more hours of this in the autumn.

Details: Borg 77EDII + DGL reducer + Art11002 + Astronomik Ha, 12x900 (3 hours)

once I got over the shock of it being upside down I recognised it! the gassy stuff in the middle has really come out well. I mean the bit in between the broom and the hook. I am in the middle of doing this in Ha and O3 but I have not got as much detail in the centre. Definitely one to pursue.

Wonderful image, really dramatic. On the one hand I really like the way the attenuated stars allows the nebulosity to stand out, on the other hand I quite like stars!
