Whats is it for Rob?

Doesn't Teflon have low friction properties. As I had a thought to make a Azimuth bearing pad from a circle of it.

How thick? I can get offcuts . . . .

I need enough for a dob base. so 3 pads for the low part of the base (3 inchs square) and 4 smaller pads (2 each side) to rest the side bearings on.. I guess an inch square?.

If you have some off cuts that would be great... I guess 3mm/5mm thick?.. I guess
