Dew strip power

My dew strips have usb connectors on and I use a power bank to power them works really well .

I have just bought a dew strip for my 120 its has a phono connection I want an adapter I was looking at this but my son said it would not work as earphones are not usually powered, can someone advise me on this or suggest another connection please.

Looks to have a ground and left/right audio so no I don't think it will work.

What are your soldering skills like? What is the voltage of the new dew strap?

can you post a picture of the dew strap connector?

5v soldering skills not too bad. I have got one of these but can easily get more. 

Thinking about it the band maybe 12v

Thank you for that but I think the dew strip is not working.

I have connected it up with these and the power bank kept turning off. 

So I hooked it up to a proper 12v supply and it's not working.

So something is wrong with the dew strip broken wire or something.

No she didn't and she she is lousy at it I told her to get my hands and the read out in the same shot.

I have two svbony dew strips and they work with the adaptor and power bank.
