Kisdon and barn, see reply UPDATE!

Recommended Posts

...interested to see how this renders.

First go with astro modified Canon 6D MkII. Sigma 24mm.  Sky, four vertical panes each 4 x 10s, f2.2, iso3200.   Ground, four vertical panes each 2 x 120s, f2.8, iso3200.  LR, Sequator, MSICE and PS.  Interesting colours to manage.

Clouds were a bit of a complication!  Upper Swaledale about 04.00.

How have you found the Astro-mod?

Interesting...way more signal to use, though trickier to process!  Reach the light pollution 'limit' more easily.  Certainly a bit more learning to do.  A different style with this one, trying to show off the foreground without any lighting.  Think that using the same sensor for foreground and sky makes the feel more consistent.

I (we) need more opportunities!!!!  Paul  P.S. have updated the image

Congratulations Paul 👏. So brilliant your getting the recognition you deserve. Such a stunning image, as Paul said I do like how the mountain and milky-way arc compliment each other perfectly.
