I just saw on FB one of the counties in Texas has declared an disaster declaration in preparation of the huge crowds expected for this eclipse. 

They are preparing for the population to double with the visitors.

In '17, it took me 11 hours to get out of South Carolina. 

To days before I made it from my house to SC in 8 hours.
