heq5 head

HI all newbie here and I just bought this heq5 head.1of the black plugs is torn off as you can see. Do I need to be worried because it's like that. This may be a dumb question what the black plug protects. And where can I get another 1.I just got this about a week ago and saw it like that. today thankyou

No prob just buy some self adhesive chair leg pads and cover hole with one

Welcome. In your picture I cant see the counterweight bar or the counterweights. Assume you have those somewhere. If not you need those.

The counterweight bar is in the head just open bottom clutch and it slides out

Didnt know that it fits completely inside the head.  Good to know 🙂

On mine it came separately.

I do like the HEQ5PRO I did the Rowan belt mod as soon as I got it and it's well worth it ,the head unit fits nicely in an aluminium flight case

It covers the end of the worm drive. As long as you keep dirt and moisture out it will be fine. A stopper would be the best option, but even a little bit of duct tape would do the job.
