Big prom 20240212

A very impressive prom from this afternoon, maybe a flare just over the limb.

It didn't hang around for too long and faded significantly over the next half an hour.

Yeah, think is was a coronal mass ejection. Observed the beginning of it at 10.30am and again in the afternoon. Was largest around 13.30ish. Not processed my images yet but here's a phone pic of the screen around 13.30ish.
