For the first time in what seems to be ages, Saturn appeared reasonably crisp, and for the first time in ages I was able to sketch some detail. Not a patch on what it looks like when high in the night sky, but beggars can't be choosers!

It's the first sketch of Saturn with this 128. I've made a few sketches of Venus too, and a couple of tiny Mars. Now it's a more suitably mounted I'll hopefully get more opportunities if the seeing is good. I now need to be mindful so as to allocate equal time to both my scopes. I don't want any tears!

I've not been as active on here recently (work) and hadn't realised you've also got an FS-128 too... I have no doubt you'll make great use of it, and look forward to your observing notes/sketches 😃

Superb rendition Mike, I like how you’ve shown how the visibility of the Cassini division varies round the ring, the subtle shadows and subtle shading on the inside of the ring.. 👍
