Quick process from last night.

10" Dob with QHY462 mono & bessel U for UV. QHY585c for OSC.

 

19.34 UT.

35 degrees elev.

Excellent work Stuart. There are so many fine details. The weekend was amazing, wasn't it? Super stable.  I need to find the time to process my images.

Fabulous images Stuart,  the conditions were very stable over the weekend UK wide it seems. Some really fine details visible in your images, excellent end results !

Thanks Pete! Best sustained conditions I've ever experienced. Looks like weather is breaking at weekend so I'll be trying every night until then 🙂

Just reminding myself that I did planetary imaging once 🤪 Thank goodness Venus was last year and not this 😮 Can't help thinking this prelonged unsettled weather bodes well for Jupiter in the autumn. Surely we are due  settled weather at some stage!

For a moment I thought you had a new capture 🤪. True, the infamous June 2023. I might give it a try this week. Mercury is close by too.
