A lovely spotty disc, SN170, AR3190 plus 9 other AAs.  Quite a surprise when the unexpected guest arrived.  Great views in HA too if you have the means.

Great photo Paul. I had a look about 30 minutes ago - incredible number of sunspots. I also took out the PST + DS but felt that the white light version was more pleasing.

Thanks Mark. I did exactly the same thing, I thought the WL view was better too, though when using the PST later it was low over a neighbours house and I think they had their heating on!

I remember the predictions of a very quiet Solar Cycle for #25.

Yes, predictions are for a very active solar max.
