Mars IR 685 Oct 12th

Misty cloud kept mucking my levels about. But so far this one has come out ok i thought.

That's a nice Mars Neil. I was out for dinner with friends yesterday evening and lots of hazy cloud about when we got home, so I didn't even bother to open up.

Excellent images! I really like your colour one but the IR brings some depth to it. Did you try to derogate and merge them? (I captured some IR the other night but I had not looked at it yet).

TBH I prefer to keep my IR and RGBs separate. The only reason it's done is to give a false sense of detail to a colour shot. Why not spend more time trying to get a good colour shot. I have no problem with people doing it. But it's not really my cup of tea.

Thanks Craig. The phase does give it a certain look. Though can't wait for full size and full phase. Should be interesting.
