Two nights of new galaxies

Really enjoying the 10 inch scope...Gradually working through those in the plough and on to canes van...

WOW moment last night was finding the first Coma Group galaxy...250 million light years away..:)

According to Astronomy now there is a group of galaxies around NGC 4889...

So I found the triangle of stars and there with averted vision was NGC 4889 but no others. Looked on google and there are loads of galaxies around so I will try at least NGC 4874..

Here is my list from the last two nights.

NGC 4605NGC 4111NGC 3941NGC 4631NGC 4656NGC 4889NGC 4565NGC 4494NGC 4388NGC 4387NGC 4402M 87M 84M 86NGC 4438NGC 4435NGC 4461NGC 4473NGC 4477

So very successful....

That's quite a challenging group to sight. Well done on spotting the others as well. It's quite mind boggling to think how far the light has traveled to get to your scope!!!:)
