Strange things: Lunar Imaging By De Marco Fedele (continuously updated)

I'll give it a try. I don't know if that could be an idea. I decided to create a single thread in this section. I am very productive and I observe and imaging in any moment i can.
I would therefore like to avoid lengthening the section with many of my individual posts.
Consider that I have started to imaging for about 1 year (never done before) and therefore a single post helps not only the forum to stay clean but you can see learning progress etc.
If I find that posts are no longer followed in this way, I'll go back to traditional posting.

This is my Mewlon 180c this evening, out of collimation  (yes I don't know how to collimate !! i don t have the calm to do this), with a high Moon at Zenith and quite good seeing.

10.04.2022
Takahashi Mewlon 180c, ASI 178MM (f12, f24 for Clavius) only),
AsiStudio, AstroSurface T1

Nice shots - my eyes are not good enough to tell if its out of collimation based on the first 2 (there doesn't seem to be anything much wrong with them!) - the 3rd does seems a tad soft on the RHS if that's the collimation error (I'm not a reflector person so I have no idea).

Good idea too re the single thread - a nice way of seeing progress (I'm testing something similar on twitter for full disk solar images).

I think the single thread is a great idea. I'm not an imager and don't intend to ever do more than hold a smartphone to the eyepiece but I'm very interested in all things Tak :)

So I'm not an expert, I know nothing about collimation, but those images look excellent to me! Keep posting!

The C11 is my main weapon of choice for lunar and planetary imaging but I do crave a low FL APO for some lunar work too.
I had the pleasure of borrowing a TMB 115 APO for a few months and the results I got on the moon were nothing short of incredible.

And certainly not even a Mak 127 could be missing in these two days

12.04.2022,
Skywatcher Mak 127, ASI 178MM in direct fire
AsiStudio, AstroSurface
On an EQ3 MANUAL. A few seconds of recording so.
