AZ5 for 12x70s?

OK Apricot

Recommended Posts

I have a terrible plastic quick release adaptor for my binos, that if you so much as exhale the view becomes bouncy for a while, totally useless in the wind.

I may be getting a new mount for my 127 soon so would either sell, or have a spare, AZ5. It would be a shame to waste it so I wondered if there was a way I could mount my binoculars here?

You can get a simple L bracket that mounts the binoculars at the side but a better way is the TS L adaptor that mounts the binoculars on top of the mount and uses a counterweight. The width of the binoculars is no longer a problem.

I used one on an AZ-GTi mount and it worked very well with a short scope or binoculars.
